Video
I loved this video. He is completely right. The teachers don't care about teaching and education. They really care about facts. Dan is so right about so many things especially about the internet. There is so much out there that is free, why do we worry. For instance when he talks about the institution revolution, if it refuses to adapt it will die and that is true. I also agree with the value with information. If you want to know something you find it out in no time. Where back then hardly anyone knew informtion, and information was very valuable where today nothing is valuable. I also liked his point about buying books. Why buy books we don't use them, and only open then once or twice and pay so much for them. Video was very good and informative.

I actually enjoyed using the Tiny site. I set up an account and it was easy to use. Somethings haven't been so easy this semester to catch onto, but this was pretty nice. I liked the site, and found it easy to use, and understand.

I didn't mind this activity. I just don't like how you have to resize it every time to see the whole map.
I would use this in my classroom to show the students how to find out where things are in the world, at home or other countries. You can see everything very well, and it would be nice when your talking about paris, jsut to pull this up, time in an address of where your talking about and show the students where it is. I know we have those maps to pull down that use to hang on the chalk board, but how much cooler is it this way. you can even let the students experiment with the site, to locate other things. Great way to add technology into the classroom.

Prezi is very different. I thought it was hard to use and understand. I didn't really care for it. I like powerpoints better their simple. I understand how to use powerpoint and get my information in it, and understand it more. I like how the prezi move and make it more inviting and when doing presentations it nice to be able to catch peoples eye, and get there attention and keep it, I'm jsut not that good with technology and how to use it, and make my stuff look at good. Im jsut a simple person. I like the advantages like i mention to use with others and keep their attention in a board room for instance is much more easier with prezi than powerpoint, but the disadvantages is doing the project like for me it was hard.

google docs. drawings
My computer or system won't allow me to use the drawing feature. This is the message I get.

Glogster

A glog is almost like facebook, its a place where you can create a web page about yourself that reflects what you like and enjoy and can talk to friends and family.
I would use a glog in class to get to know my studetns and vice versa, its also a great way to introduce them to the internet and the things they can do.
I feel it corresponds with Technology Operations and concepts.
I don't really see any problems.

Self Portrait
Some of the issues I had when creating my portrait was the ears on my are backwards on the one side, but I couldn't figure out how to fix it so I just just left them. I also didn't like any of the hair, so I just settled for one. They didn't fit the faces right. So I know my looks pretty funny.

VoiceThread
I didn't mind doing the voice thread activity. I thought it was late, but now realize it was a different class that I posted my voice to. I don't know if I did this correctly. I went to the new site that posted in the mail and my voice is still there, so I'm assuming I have do this correctly. Now I'm posting my blog. I don't really like to hear my voice on a machine, or microphone, I think I should funny. But this assignment was fun. I was able to learn about the other students in my class, and get feedback which is nice as well. When you take online classes, its really hard to get to know the other students and with this voice thread it helps. I would have to also say that this ISTE and NETS activity matches closly with the Digital-Age work-learning.

Learning style Results
My results were completely right one. I knew I was a kinestistic learner and taking the test only proved me right. I was a 12 for Kinestistic learning. So I guess you can say I was very close. I wasn't off by any.
I would use the results of my knowledge and understanding, and what the test proved to help me lead a class, or group of teachers, or principals. in that whatever I was teaching I would have them demonstrate. For instance if your setting up rules in your classroom, once you have assigned the rules have the students act them out so they know what to do, and what not to do to reinforce whatever it is your teaching. For instance with teacher in a group whatever the discussion is about there is always a way to get up and move and act out whatever it may be, no one likes to sit still though a meeting with out moving we all get bored. The same goes for principals. We all need to learn and remember that we are all different, and learn different, and at different speeds. So as a teacher just remember that everyone one of your students are unique and treat them as individuals.

My learning style is kinestistic. I love working with my hands. I even talk with my hands. When it comes to taking a test I would love to have one that is kinestistic but that doesn't happen to often. Most test are aural, or visual. If it was up to me I would choose a kinestistic test, but my second choice would be visual so I could see it. I when it comes to learning we all learn differently and most teachers should take that into consideration. I think I have changed myself to be more visual, becuase not a lot of things are done hands on anymore. I have to be about to touch, see and do what I'm learning. I like to put them all together. Don't just tell something to do, show me or give me example in class of what your talking about. Reinfore what you want to teach different ways.

I've learned that we have spent a lot of time in commitee meetings this past couple of weeks, and are coming up on the senate youth program. Personality Results
My results were right on. I am a guardian. Well I think my personality is great for being a teacher and leading a class. I love structure, schedules, rules, and I'm alll about duties, and responsibilities which I feel all teachers have. I feel you have to be firm in some way to lead groups, and you have to be able to be "mean" at some point so you don't get walked all over. One the other hand I feel we all of some of the other traits in us on just shows up more. But all in all I think my trait is a good one to have, and I feel it will help in the future as a teacher.

I feel being more aware of personality traits helps us better understand other people and how to do with other people better. By knowing all the traits, gives more leverage on understand why people are the way they are and why the do certain things. We are all different, and all diserve to be treated equal, and respected. We are not all alike, and need to know the differences.

I don't really have any experience with personality traits. I do feel however that the personality trait that best fits me is the guardian trait, then rational, then idealist and last would be the artisan. I'm most like guardian because I'm serious about my duites whether its work, or cleaning or homework, I take things serious. I'm very responsible, and expect others to be like me, if I have a job to do I do it and get done, I work hard, I love teamwork, and most importantly I love schedules. I'm rational I rationalize about everything. I will listen to anyone who wants to teach me. I'm like the idealist in the I'm kindhearted, loving, nurturing. I don't like conflit, or fighting. I believe in working together for the good. I'm nothing like the artisan. I don't like spontanegous things, I don't like art, or theater, I love dance though. I don't have this free life outlook, or that tomorrow might not come.

For instance I have diigo, my web search and google as my browsers they allow me to search for things and give results. They are useful in that not all of them give them the same site I'm looking for or the same answer, you get a variety and thats great because there isn't always one answer to a question. I like add ones, I just get nervous with downloading things to my computere because I don't want it to run slow or get viruses. Internet Connection Test

My internet provider is frontier
I have no idea if there are others in my area I just have my phone through frontier so I choose internet through them as well. All one bill I like that!
I only speed about an hour a day on the internet if that. but with school now in I will spend more time.
Im guessing broadband is high speed internet
I have no idea how it is measured
I don't know the providers
